One of their most famous regular clients was Salvador Dali who became a good family friend. The menu at Via Veneto includes various meat and fish options but it’s the game and fungi dishes that really stand out here. You can order a plate of rovellons or ceps, both wild mushrooms straight from the Catalan forests cooked to perfection in olive oil and rock salt. Game includes hare, partridge and deer and the Via Veneto signature dish of a whole baby duck on a bed of baked apples is an experience to behold where the duck is slow roasted and then deboned at your table. This restaurant is a wine lover’s paradise with an amazing wine cellar of over 10,000 bottles with some of the best Spanish and French wines available including their coveted Vega Sicilias.
