A new and exciting addition to Barcelona’s restaurant scene is Movie, a concept restaurant that is proving to be a big hit among the city’s young and fashionable. Step inside and you’ll be greeted with a cool white bar area filled with director’s chairs where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail or two among friends. Then head on into the main dining room which is decked out in cinema style reds, with tables lining each side of the room, all with perfect views of the huge flat screen on the end centre wall where vintage movies and music video clips are shown as you dine. The seating is really comfy with large sofa style banquettes and soft armchairs and the room is super stylish. After dinner head on into the back room which features a cool dance floor where you can dance the night away to resident D.J. David D’Odo’s funky beats including classic 80’s and 90’s tracks. The international style menu offers an innovative kind of comfort food with dishes like large ravioli filled with wild mushrooms topped with a creamy mushroom sauce, POP hamburger with tarragon and mustard sauce and fries and deep fried chicken pieces with a mayonnaise mousse and nuts. Movie is the restaurant everyone is currently talking about in Barcelona, and is a magnet for young hip things.
