Bacco is a wonderful contemporary restaurant well situated on the famous Rambla of Barcelona close the Plaza de Catalunya. A modern and trendy looking venue decked out in dark woods contrasted by lime green banquettes, Bacco’s first floor dining room has great views over the Rambla below where diners can people watch their heart away. The food here is presented beautifully and the menu is a mix of international flavours and the quality of the produce is first class. Dishes include watermelon gazpacho with crispy Iberian ham noodles for starter, mains such as monkfish fillet in citrus sauce or duck breast with a carrot and orange cream and desserts such as chocolate truffle fritters with mandarin sauce. You can also opt for one of the very reasonable set menus. Bacco offers first rate dining right in the touristic centre of Barcelona and will certainly not disappoint.
