Agua, one of Barcelona’s best beach side restaurants, not only has some of the most stunning views across the sea, but is well loved for its superb yet simple Mediterranean menu. Agua is part of the Tragaluz group of restaurants who are well known for quality throughout Spain. Located in Barceloneta, the Agua Restaurant is in a privileged position overlooking the beach and its beautiful sea views can be enjoyed whilst dining on the restaurant’s large terrace. The inside of the Agua Restaurant is warm and welcoming and is decorated in a colonial style. The food is fresh and simple mediterranean cuisine offering dishes such as Iberian ham and foie grois on bread, grilled turbot with squid noodles and salmon tartar with leeks. The restaurant has a large open charcoal fire where locally caught fish and seafood are cooked. The Agua specialty is risotto, which is cooked on the open fire to give a smokey flavour. Agua is extremely popular among both locals and tourists therefore it is advisable to book a table in advance.
